My dear LU Fam
I know my time with LU was "here and there" and some occasional drop in's but LU was my first raid home I was a part of and that holds a dear place with me; but as a select few of you know, my father suffered a severe Cardiac Arrest this past Christmas and this has thrown the family for a huge whirl during the holidays. He's alive and well and on a slow path of recovery, but its progressive, nonetheless.
That being said, I've made the decision to officially retire from EQ entirely, and close this chapter of my life. This past holiday has been a huge eye opener for the whole family and with that, brings change in everyday life for everyone.
EQ will always be my first love, when it comes to the gaming community. As for LU, each and every one of you have been nothing short of amazing folks and friends and I will always cherish the relationships/late night grinds I've shared with many of you. At this time I have no idea what I'm going to do with Arii or my box toons; would be a shame to see them rot in "character select". If any of you would like to keep in touch, contact me via discord.
with all that said, I will truly miss this world/game/community we all shared where many of us found some small measure of happiness/peace. I will miss you all.
